If you want to cook something special for a festive dinner, surprising the guests with its delicate taste and originality, we offer you a recipe for turkey with lingonberry sauce.

The surprisingly tender and juicy taste of turkey with sauce perfectly harmonizes with dry white wine, allowing you to turn an ordinary dinner into a celebration.

In order to emphasize the delicate taste of turkey in lingonberry sauce, it is not recommended to add strong spicy seasonings. It is enough to slightly emphasize the harmony of the ingredients in the recipe of turkey fillet in sauce with salt and pepper, giving the dish a special piquancy.

Cooking Method

Add 400 ml of water to the cranberries and boil. It won't take much time, because the berries will become soft very quickly

Fillet cut into small pieces and fry in boiling oil for 5 minutes on each side.

Pour a little less than half of the broth of cranberries (liquid only) into a frying pan with meat. Add salt. Leave it to cook until soft, tightly closed with a lid – 20 minutes.

Preparing the sauce. Pour vodka into the berry broth and add sugar and boil this mixture over low heat for 8 minutes.

Dilute the starch in 70 ml of cold water. Pour it into the lingonberry sauce. Mix quickly and immediately remove from the heat. Do not boil! To form a homogeneous consistency, if desired, you can beat with a blender. Put the meat on plates and pour the sauce over it. It can be served as a side dish, or as an independent dish. Enjoy your meal!
