Cooking Method

Wash the chicken, cut into portions.  Fry the chicken in butter so that a golden crust appears, but not until cooked. Remove the chicken and transfer it to a deep goose coop or other heat-resistant dishes.

In the frying pan in which the chicken was fried, add the onion, then add the finely chopped carrots, and after a couple of minutes — tomatoes and pepper. Stir occasionally.

After a couple of minutes, when the moisture has almost evaporated, add okra, spices, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally. Then add the sifted flour, stirring constantly, fry the resulting mixture for 2-3 minutes. Bring the broth to a boil. Add the vegetable mixture from the pan to the chicken, pour all the broth and mix very well. Put on low heat and simmer, stirring regularly, for 40-60 minutes.

Fry rice in a frying pan with vegetable oil (8-10 minutes) Squeeze the garlic into the finished dish, cover with a lid and let stand for a minute.

Chakhokhbili is served with rice, garnished with fresh chopped herbs. Enjoy your meal!
